Hey Frank, congrats on the new motorhome! If your 2026 Tiffin on a Freightliner chassis came with the BrakeSync flat towing option, I recommend the Demco Air Force One Flat Tow Brake System item # DM23MV. This kit comes with everything you'll need to get your 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500 setup with a braking system.

Please note that the BrakeSync system has a proprietary connector that looks like the picture attached below. You'll just need to plug the jumper cable/blue air hose included with the item # DM23MV into it and you'll be ready to go on the RV side.

Tiffin also has their own Demco Air Force One Brake System item # DM55MV but it has a different air quick connect. This quick connect is going to look like the standard one you see on air compressors and it'll be mounted near the hitch and 7-Way on the back of your RV. This kit also has everything you'll need to install in your Silverado.

If you don't have a flat tow prep and a air quick connect on the back of your Tiffin, I recommend the Demco Air Force One Flat Tow Brake System item # SM99243. This setup comes with everything you'll need to install on your Silverado, plus it includes an air tank that will be spliced directly into your motorhome's air lines. This will provide the pressure required to operate the actuator that moves your truck's brake pedal during deceleration or braking.

Does your Tiffin motorhome have the BrakeSync flat towing option and is there an air line quick connect mounted at the rear?

I installed the Demco Air Force One Flat Tow Brake System #SM99243 on my 2025 Renegade Verona LE and pull a 2018 GMC Canyon Denali Diesel 4WD. The Renegade Verona LE is built on Freightliner's MB106 Plus chassis which does not come with air brake prep for flat towing so it was necessary to install the version of the Air Force One that included the air tank. I installed the system myself and the system works excellent every time. I have logged about 7,500 miles with no problems. If you need to install the same system I used, you will need a specific airline "T" connector required for Freightliners that is NOT included in the Air Force One kit. I believe the part number is DM45FR.

Frank. I installed Airforce 1 on our 2020 F250 along with the battery charger. Our RV is a 2024 Renegade Explorer 40ERB. The AF 1 was easy to install and had performed without any issues. I would install this system again if I have the need on another vehicle. The only recommendation I would have is to install the Bluetooth brake indicator which set on the dash of the RV and illuminates when the AF 1 braking system is initiated. The led light that comes with the system is very hard to see in the rear camera of our RV.
