Base Plate Kit Recommendation for Flat Towing 2026 Ram Rebel 1500

Question:
This question is for your flat tow base plate installers. For a 2026 Ram Rebel you have listed a Blue Ox BLU66ER and a Demco DM9519341. If you were installing a base plate kt on your own personal 2026 Ram Rebel, which one would you pick? Im asking for ease of install and for design strength in this particular truck, which would you want to install?

Hey Kevin, this is a great question but if it were my truck and I was looking for a flat towing setup I would go with the Blue Ox part # BLU66ER. Blue Ox flat towing components are really well made and easy to use. I've had a chance to use them all and the lug design of the Blue Ox and how easy the removable arms of the base plate kit has me pick it for you.

You can disregard my most recent email. The eTrailer ad is a little confusing so I went to the Blue Ox site and confirmed that the baseplate you have listed as BLU66ER is the correct base plate for a 2026 Ram Rebel. Thanks again, Kevin
