Trailer Hitch For A 2013 VW Beetle

I am looking for the hitch 11260 for a 2013 VW Beetle, but cannot locate the product on your site. Please advise.

Hi Chad!

While we do have an option for a 2013 VW Beetle, the Curt 11260 was discontinued mid 2024 and is no longer available.

With that said, the Curt # C11354 will fit the hatchback and convertible, but not the diesel models or R-Line models. Did you have one of these by chance?

What are you wanting to carry in the hitch?

@LazerS I ordered the 11354 for the beetle and it will not fit. The brackets that attach to the frame have to be same height. It is not a diesel or turbo. I’ll have it return it and try another company.

@Chad Well dang. Sorry about that. I will get a pre-paid return label started and you should receive it by email in the next day or so (check your spam folder if you don't see it). The 11260 does have those level mounting flanges, so it must be the one you are needing. Odd that Curt discontinued it for this one I recommended. You may still be able to find one though. Just be aware it was a couple years ago that they did discontinue it, so it isn't going to be easy to find. Ebay will likely be your best bet, but if the hitch doesn't end up having hardware, just let us know. We can still get you that if needed.

Yes, the trailer hitch works perfectly, and it was incredibly easy to install on my wife’s 19’ Beetle. She’s hauled bikes to the beach numerous times. However, it does scrape against hard inclines when entering driveways too quickly.
