Hey, Darrell.

Thanks for sharing the model number of your Airxcel AC. Based on that number, your AC is using the now phased out R-410A refrigerant. Because of that, you can’t just replace the main AC unit, you’ll also need a new air distribution box and thermostat. The kit you will need instead is the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System # ADV92SR. This is a complete system and will come with everything you need, and it will work with your ducted set-up.

I know it’s not ideal to have to replace more than just the main unit, but when it became mandatory for all RV ACs to use R32 refrigerant, nothing is cross compatible and you can’t mix old and new parts.

What trips are you prepping the camper for?

Thank you for helping. That unit fit perfectly. The wiring diagram for the thermostat needs to be adjusted to color coding of factory wiring, other than that it was straight forward and easy install.

@Darrell I love the idea of the color coding, unfortunately every RV may use different colored wires so it would be hard to list every camper's wiring codes.
