Features to know about

Cools Fast and Stays Steady: 13,500 Btu Cooling Power

When the cabin starts heating up, this 13,500 Btu rooftop unit brings the temperature back down fast. Dual motors move cool air more efficiently than single-motor systems, while the high efficiency design delivers steady comfort without wasting power. Rated for an energy efficiency ratio of 7.1 and drawing 11.2 amps at 115V, it’s a solid performer that keeps your space comfortable even in the heat.

Starts Up Smooth When Power Is Low: Built-In Start Capacitor

Sometimes shore power or a small generator just doesn’t have enough juice to kick on an AC. This unit fixes that with a built-in start capacitor that stores energy and gives the compressor an extra boost at startup. It gets the air moving when voltage drops and resets itself for the next cycle so you don’t have to mess with it.

Runs Quiet and Reduces Vibration: Dampened Compressor Design

There’s no need to shout over your AC. Rubber dampeners on the compressor help reduce vibration and noise for quieter performance. Inside sound pressure levels reach about 80 dB, keeping operation smooth and steady without rattling your roof or disturbing conversation.

Simple Retrofit Upgrade: Ready for Coleman, Dometic, or Advent Systems

If you’re swapping out an older rooftop unit, this one is built to fit right in. The included conversion kit adapts to existing Coleman, Dometic, or Advent air distribution boxes with a 9-pin to 6-pin harness for Coleman setups. Bolt-on hardware and brackets are included for straightforward installation so you can reuse your current ceiling pieces and wiring.

Built to Last on the Roof: Tough, Insulated Construction

The UV-resistant white cover shields the AC from water and debris while keeping internal components protected from sun damage. Inside, EPP foam housing provides water and chemical resistance along with thermal insulation that helps prevent overheating. At 76 lbs with overall dimensions of 34-13/16" long x 27-9/16" wide x 13-9/16" tall, it’s sturdy enough for life on the road but still easy to handle when maintenance time rolls around.

works great kept the camper cool when it was 100 out 70 inside

by:

Great unit and easy install. Sara was great to work with!

by:

The unit arrived with a large tear on the side of the box. The units t seems fine, however that is all we received the unit nothing else. No screws, no conversion wire nothing. I was very upset!! I did contact your office I know you have mailed the wire I assume the screws and other parts in the description will also be received. I now have to wait another week for A/C. It’s already been over a week. Thank you for your time.

by:

Jesse (salesman / support) was spot on. Easy to install. Only took our son an hour to install from start to finish. Cooling perfectly as we speak. Very happy we made this purchase.

by:

Perfect replacement for a Coleman unit. Plug and play, it’s quieter and cools better. Old unit was a 2003 and had 6600 hours on it. Hopefully we can get the same out of this unit!

by:

I ordered this item to replace my Coleman a/c on my rv. Description said it was essentially plug and play. I received the a/c unit quick. Went to install and the air distribution box did not fit/work correctly with new a/c unit. Very disappointed. Called etrailer to get a air distribution box and they informed me they didn’t have any because my brand new a/c unit is pretty much discontinued and has already been replaced with a newer a/c unit with a different type of Freon. This was 6 days after I ordered the a/c unit. I was told by etrailer to call furrion directly. Furrion luckly had the air distribution box that I needed. Next time I will cut the middle man (etrailer) out. Description of item was misleading to say the least. etrailer left me hanging, disappointed and unsatisfied.

by:

Shipped fast and safe.
Unit was easy
to install and works well. It is considerably louder than my Coleman Mach that I removed. Coleman conversion kit worked like a charm.

by:

To early to tell for sure as last year bought 2 and one has failed. When working they were less noisy as before also cooled much better. etrailer handled the warranty fast and with excellent results ( thanks to Chloe ). If not for her would have been hard to give more that 1 star

by:

Did not come with adapter and I cannot use the ac yet. They are supposed to be getting more in stock, within a week and half, and said they would send me one. Will update when I get it and let y'all know if it works.

by:

This unit replaced my old one perfectly. The adapter wires plugged right into the factory plug and the foam seal on the bottom of the new unit is nice and thick. It sounds about the same inside the camper while it's on but outside it is much quieter, especially while the compressor and outside fan are off. Also it seems to use less electricity than the old one. I definitely recommend.

by:

Easy to install
Cools great

by:

Shipped ASAP, product as described & reviwed ! Installation was a breeze & unit is operating wonderful! BRAVO ETRAILER????????

Bravo to you for gettin that install done, Robert! How's the air feel?

by:

Ordered arrived perfect!!! My order came super quick, 2 days and our new AC unit arrived, right on time to get the camper ready for our 1st trip. Highly recommend!!!

by:

Purchase, delivery, and installation was easy peasy.

by:

I haven’t been able to use the ac yet because the adapter was NOT in the box with ac as displayed when I ordered. The missing part will be three days getting here and will cost me another service call plus cost to finish installing inside my Motorhome. Another additional $200. Someone needs to do additional quality control at manufacturing facility or at eTrailer.

  • Replacement AC for Old Dometic Duo-Therm
Hi Jerry; until recently I would have said yes, the ASA86YR or ASA99YR will plug right into your Dometic setup making for a simple installation. We have started to run into compatibility issues with certain Dometic models and Advent Air doesn't seem to know what is compatible anymore. They have also stated their AC unit may burn up your air distribution box which would leave you replacing the entire system. It is for that reason that I recommend replacing your Dometic AC with Furrion....

  • Replacement Condenser Units For A Dometic DuoTherm Two Unit System
Hey Bradley, If you're just wanting to replace the rooftop units and keep your current air distribution boxes and thermostat then you'll just need to check the wiring to determine if you have a 6-pin or 9-pin connector. If you remove the air distribution cover you should be able to look up and see the wire harness hanging down from the rooftop condenser unit and plugged into the controller. If you don't see it then Dometic probably mounted it inside the rooftop condenser unit and you'll...

  • Replacement Air Conditioner Recommendation for a Dometic 57915.731 Air Conditioner
I have a great choice for you. While we do not carry the Dometic line of A/C's and I had a hard time finding the specifics of your 57915.731, we do have A/C's that will work to replace a Dometic A/C. There are two different routes that you can take here for replacement. A complete replacement (inside and rooftop components) or rooftop unit only (works with the inside components already in place from your Dometic). I recommend the Furrion Chill A/C. I like these because they are some of...

Hey Jeffrey, There isn't a guide to tell us what your motorhome has installed on it but you can remove the shroud on the rooftop unit to look for the manufacturer sticker that lists the model number and BTU rating. You'll also need to remove the cover to the air distribution box inside the motorhome and look for the wire harness that hangs down from the rooftop unit and plugs into the controller to see if you have a 6-pin or 9-pin connector. There replacement rooftop AC units available for your Dometic 57915.621 system, but you'll first want to verify what style connector your current unit has. To find this connector you'll remove the cover to the air distribution box to gain access to the controller and then look for the wire harness that hangs down from the rooftop unit and plugs into the controller. Hey Kathryn, good to hear from you again! For your application I recommend picking up a Furrion Chill HE air conditioner because they come with wiring adapters to fit with your current Coleman wiring and have proven to be the most reliable. I'm not sure what the Btu rating or color is for your current AC, so here is a list of the Furrion ones that will work: White - 13.5K Btu # FR82PV - 15K Btu # FR42PV Black - 13.5K Btu # FR62PV - 15K Btu # FR32PV

  • Replacement AC for a Forest River 5th Wheel Trailer w/a 13,500 btu AC System
Hello Lynda! I checked online and it looks like your 2013 Forest River Salem Lite 356QBQ comes from the factory with a ducted 13,500 btu AC system. I could not find what specific brand or model you have. If you're just trying to replace the air conditioner itself, the Furrion item # FR82PV you were looking at is only going to work if you currently have a Coleman AC system. The EPA mandated a refrigerant change at the beginning of 2025, which made your AC system incompatible with anything...

  • Replacement AC Unit for a Coleman Mach 8

To replace your Coleman Mach 8, you'll want the Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Coleman Setup item # FR62PV in black or item # FR82PV in white. This includes an adapter wiring kit that enables the AC to work with your existing Coleman setup. It will be a complete plug and play installation. It has a built in start capacitor and the dual motors make it super quiet.

  • Recommended Replacement For A Dometic Duo-Therm AC Unit Model # 80611342
Your Dometic model number 80611342 came back as a 13,500BTU unit so the only other information we'll need to know is the what style connector your unit has. Dometic units will either come with a 6-pin or 9-pin connector (pictured below). The units we currently offer only come with a 6-pin connector so you'll need an adapter if your current unit had a 9-pin. To find this you'll need to remove the cover of your air distribution box and find the wire harness that hangs down from the rooftop...

Hi David; the Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Coleman Setup # FR82PV you looked at is what we would have previously recommended. However, we have run into compatibility issues so I can't say with absolute certainty it will work as a plug and play replacement. Since everything has switched to the new R32 refrigerant following the 2025 EPA regulations now is a good time to swap out the entire system. This avoids the need for a complete replacement down the road if a...

If you are wanting quiet I recommend # FR82PV, Furrion Chill HE. Furrion is going to be the quietest option out of our ac units, and that one specifically comes with an adapter to use with a Coleman Mach system.
