Does the bumper beam get reinstalled when installing a Tesla model 3 2022 LR?

Hey Jason,

Great question. When installing the Oris Hitch # RS49VR on your 2022 Model 3, the factory bumper beam does not get reinstalled. The hitch itself takes its place and is designed to provide the structural support needed.

If you’d rather keep the factory bumper beam in place, the Stealth Hitch # 391TES317 for bike racks and other hitch mounted carrier, or part # 391TES317T if you also need to be ready for towing a trailer. That setup allows everything, including the bumper beam, to go back on.
