The Kuat Ibex Customizable Overland Truck Bed Rack adapts to whatever you’re hauling. With uprights that install at full-height or mid-height, you can choose how your gear rides. Full-height opens up more space in the truck bed for bulky gear, while mid-height keeps everything within easy reach for quick access. Changing between setups is simple—just remove the crossbars, add or remove the middle upright section, and re-install. At full height, the rack measures 62-15/16" long x 19" tall, and in mid-height configuration it measures 62-15/16" long x 11-7/8" tall, so you can dial in the right setup for your trip.

Made from lightweight aluminum with a black powder coated finish, the Ibex stands up to off-road use and rough weather. The ballistic black Tiger powder coat is corrosion resistant and designed to stay looking good season after season. At 74 lbs, the rack is strong without adding unnecessary weight, and it supports up to 300 lbs of gear for serious overlanding or work setups.
Every part of the Ibex is designed to carry more. The uprights, top rails, crossbars, and upper and lower bedrails feature integrated channels that accept channel-mount and clamp-on accessories. You can mount MOLLE panels, recovery boards, antenna brackets, shovels, or a Piston SR bike rack using Ibex adapters (sold separately). The top channel length of 49-11/16" gives you plenty of space to secure accessories or tie-downs right where you need them.

The crossbars slide along the channels in the upper bedrails to match your gear’s crossbar spread. That means you can fine-tune the rack for anything from cargo baskets to fishing rod holders or rooftop tents. When you need to haul taller items in the bed, just slide the bars to either end to clear space. The bars’ 4" x 2" profile provides a stable platform for mounting T-bolt-compatible gear or accessories with the right adapters.

Installation is straightforward with a bolt-on design that attaches to truck bed utility rails or bedrails using the included hardware—no drilling needed. For those using a tonneau cover with integrated T-slots, adapters (sold separately) let you mount the Ibex in top channels like those on Retrax or BAK systems. Once installed, you’ll have a solid, modular platform ready for hauling gear or heading deep into the backcountry.

Ratings & Reviews
The rack is awesome. Sturdy and very functional with a ton of options.
Very happy with this rack. I have used it for about 6 months now and it held up extremely well and looks awesome. I added a large molle panel on the passenger side and two small molle panels on the driver side. I added the front molle panel to protect the rear window and the crossbar risers.
What I like: Well built, high quality, looks awesome, lots of easy to install and remove accessories (it is like the Jeep of bed racks)
What I do not like: A few screws have backed out after about 6 months (use blue Loctite), the front of the rack does not match the contour of the top of the cab and creates a gap between the rack and the truck cab.
Overall, I'd buy this rack over and over again. I cannot wait until Kuat releases the hard panel kit to make this an enclosed bed topper.
