Question:

I just bought a brand new 2020 Tesla Model 3 and I want to carry my 2" bike rack to go bike riding next week with my friends. I am looking at the EcoHitch Stealth 306-X7373 is it compatible with the Tesla model 3? Is it completely hidden?

The EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver part # EH84GR is a fit for the 2020 Tesla Model 3. The EcoHitch is completely hidden behind the bumper and has a removable square receiver tube. The receiver tube unbolts from the cross body of the hitch. When you put the receiver tube back in the hitch you have to tighten the bolt down. I have attached an installation video for your reference.

An easier completely hidden hitch option for the 2020 Tesla Model 3 is the Stealth Hitches Rack Receiver (no affiliation to EcoHitch) part # 391TES317. The Stealth Hitch is a completely hidden cross tube with a removable receiver tube as well but the difference is you can easily remove and replace the receiver tube without tightening down bolts. It features a quick latching mechanism that allows you to just push the receiver in and it locks into place. It also does not rattle like other options because it is a very tight fit compared to bolting in the other option which can create a loose connection point. You might also take a look at the # 391TES317T which is the same hitch, but also comes as a kit with everything that you need to tow.

Looking at a "hidden hitch" for 2019 Tesla M3 - for bikes. I am in Chicago area. I can buy remotely but I need a local (within 100 miles) installer. Suggestions?

I don't have any specific recommendations in the Chicago area - but I can say that any local mechanic/shop with a good reputation will be able to handle the install without issue.
