Question:
I was super curious if the brophy slide in camper tie down-extra clearance-no drill bed mount would fit my 2015 Toyota tundra 6.5 foot bed? I really would appreciate some feedback! Thank you

Hey Hart, yes the Brophy camper tie downs part # HSAB will fit your 2015 Toyota Tundra with a 6.5 foot bed. These are universal enough in design that they will fit your truck and will work great. Do you have turnbuckles picked out already?

I installed the brophy tie downs on my 2018 F150 and they worked as advertised. They ended up being wider than my camper with the jacks on so I had to extend the jack tabs. I used them for about 6 months and noticed a widening gap in the bottom of the inside edge on the bed of my truck. I don't know if this is supposed to be welded or not but decided that I might be getting to much movement in my truck bed so I ended up changing over to the more expensive torxlink frame mounts. My slide-in truck camper is around 1500 lbs.

Morning Hart, I was actually impressed with them. They not for off road use but I did and the held up great. The only issue I did have was loading and unloading the camper. The forward arm where just a little wider that my camper legs. The arms can be pushed in you just need 3 people to load and unload. One person on each arm and a driver. Other than that the worked great! If you need any other info please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
