Will The MORryde Cushion Pin Box Void The Lippert Frame Warranty

Would using this void my Lippert frame warranty? I know that Lippert has some approved pin boxes. I am just not sure if this one is approved or not.

Hey, Devan.
Thanks for your question. I completely understand wanting that confirmation.
As of right now, the only pin box confirmed to not void the Lippert frame warranty is the Curt Helux, part # C73RJ. However, the Helux pin box is only compatible with the Rhino Box. At this time, there is not an option that would bolt up to the 1621 bolt pattern like the MORryde box you are looking at. The MORryde Cushioned 5th Wheel Pin Box, part # MR74VR, once installed, would void the Lippert frame warranty on your camper.
Typically, Lippert’s frame warranty is 1 year from the date of purchase. However, some manufacturers that use Lippert frames provide their own frame warranties, and in some cases, those warranties are transferable.
If your camper only came with the standard Lippert frame warranty and it has not yet been a year, installing the MORryde would void that coverage. If your camper came with an additional frame warranty from the manufacturer, I would recommend reaching out to them directly to confirm the specific terms and how an aftermarket pin box would affect coverage.
I know Grand Design recently began offering a 5-year frame warranty, but I’m not certain of all the details, so it would still be best to verify directly with the manufacturer.
