Question:

Can the on off valve be left on all the time with out over filling the main fuel tank?? Or does the valve need to be turned off after filling the main tank??

The Connector Kit, part # DZ97960 is designed to work with an auxiliary tank like part # DZ91752X.

This system has a gravity feed to transfer diesel fuel from your auxiliary tank to your OEM tank but there is no automatic shutoff. I called my contact at DeeZee and they told me that some trucks have a sensor and if the valve is left open all the time and allowed to empty fuel into the primary tank, you may get a code or check engine light.

As you can see in the attached photo, there is a valve that is operated manually.
