Question:
I just installed the Demco DM62VR. There is a hole for the safety pin but I cant get my 1/4 inch pin to pass through. Is there an adjustment that needs to be made?

Hey Wendell, welcome back! The latch hole on the Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator item # DM62VR does accommodate a 1/4" lock like item # e98887. I'm wondering if the latch isn't closing all the way when you have the actuator connected to your hitch ball. If you look at the cutaway picture I attached below it'll show the locking mechanism directly beneath the hole for the lock. If the EZ-Latch isn't closed all the against the actuator then the locking mechanism will block that pin hole.
Have you tried inserting the pin without the actuator connected to your tow vehicle's hitch ball?
