Hello, neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Deemax Hydraulic Brake Line that is rubber with the brass male and inverted flares, and it's one foot long. So folks, this brake line here will act as part of a hydraulic brake system, it will require additional lines and fittings, those are sold separately, this is just one simple component part of those. It's typically used to connect an actuator to the main brake line. It is made of rubber, so it has a nice flexible construction that's gonna be perfect for your foldaway trailer tongues, disc brakes, torsion axles, and again, it has the breadth, male inverted flare fittings on both ends. Those are three 16th-inch fitting sizes, while the thread size is a three-eighth inch by 24.
The inner hose diameter is one-eighth inch, and overall, the whole hose is 12 inches, side to side, our length side. Nice three-year warranty, it does meet all DOT and SAE standards, it's also stamped onto the rubber itself, and the size is stamped on there as well. Now this does make a better sealed in the steel fittings because brass is gonna be more pliable and it's gonna help prevent leaks, splits, and corrosion. I'm Steven, thanks so much for watching, folks. Have a great day.

Thanks for your review, Evan! It sounds like the installation had a bit of a learning curve, but we're glad you took the time to get everything routed and set up correctly. It's great to hear the DeeMaxx kit delivered the stopping power you were looking for, especially with your truck and 5th wheel combination. Thanks for including the photos as well. They'll be a valuable resource for other customers considering a similar upgrade. What trip are you looking most forward to this summer?

I think you may have received either a damaged one (which you did mention) or a defective one, Andrew. I just grabbed two of these at random from our warehouse and test fit them in three different parts and they fit fine. If you would like, I can get a reshipment moving for you so we can get you one that I know fits. And out of curiosity, what are you putting this in? The brake, the actuator, or an adapter/t-fitting?
