Hey Jason, welcome back. It looks like you purchased the etrailer Hard Tonneau Cover item # e45DR a couple months back for your 2025 Silverado 2500. This quad fold style is going to be the best option so you can get it out of the way when you're towing your trailer, without having to completely remove the cover.

If the top of your Pullrite slider is 18" tall or less from the bed of your truck, you can use the BAKFlip G2 Hard Tonneau Cover item # BAK226133. The quad fold design can be pushed all the way up against the back of your Silverado's cab or can be folded onto the last section. This one is going to sit lower than the etrailer item # e45DR. The top of the cover will be flush with the top of your bedsides.

How tall is your Pullrite hitch from the bed of your truck and what's going on with your etrailer item # e45DR that has you looking at new covers?

My hitch does sit below the bed rails of my truck how much I can’t tell. What has me looking at covers again is while pulling my trailer and attempting to park it for the first time my trailer slid partially into the grass and snow causing me to have to pull the camper back onto the road while doing this the camper came in contact with my cover. So now with having to repurchase a cover I’m looking at more than I did before. Like overall thickness when folded. Overall weight. The one I have is kinda on the heavy side which I don’t mind but like I said I’m kinda looking at everything.

@JasonM Ok, that makes complete sense. That sounds like a royal pain but happy you didn't damage your trailer or truck. Have you thought about looking at a retractable cover? The Pace Edwards Switchblade Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover item # PE63CV would be a great place to start if you're interested. The cover retracts and only takes up about 10" of your bed closest to the cab. It'll sit flush with your bed sides and only weighs 75 lbs.

@JerredH I actually had not looked at the retractable. I do like the idea of the retractable. I do however have a question can you travel with it partially retracted or do I have to completely retract it everytime I tow.

@Jason They're super nice and by far the best covers for trucks like yours with a 5th wheel hitch. The Pace Edwards Switchblade item # PE63CV can not be partially opened. It uses a Continuous Tension Spring that fully retracts the cover into the canister or extends it to the tailgate. Now the Pace Edwards UltraGroove item # PE48CV has the ability to stop the cover every 12".
