When you need to haul oversized cargo, you shouldn’t have to remove your tonneau cover. The BAKFlip G2 folds up in four sections, so you can open part of the bed or flip it all the way up against the cab for complete access. Prop rods hold it upright while you drive, and rubber bumpers keep it from touching the cab or glass. The integrated buckle system lets you secure it folded, flipped up, or closed without tools or extra straps.

Keeping your gear safe is simple. Each of the aluminum panels locks automatically as you fold the cover down, and when the tailgate is shut and locked, the bed stays sealed. The latches are hidden under the panels to prevent tampering, and the rigid aluminum construction resists prying or cutting, adding another layer of protection against theft or weather.

Work trucks and daily drivers alike need a cover that can stand up to real use. Each BAKFlip G2 panel is 1/2" thick, made from rustproof aluminum with insulated cores for strength and rigidity. The textured black paint finish resists corrosion and UV damage, while the aluminum rails and powder-coated hardware give it the durability to handle up to 300 lbs of evenly distributed weight on top.
Rain, snow, or a trip through the car wash—this cover handles it all. The matte black rubber seals run around the edges to block out moisture, while a built-in gutter and drain hose system channels any water that gets through away from your cargo. The result is a near-watertight seal that keeps your gear dry through changing weather.
Installing the G2 doesn’t require drilling or complicated steps. The aircraft-grade aluminum frame rails clamp securely inside the bed rails, leaving stake pockets open for accessories. Bolts fasten the front hinge rail in place, and slotted brackets allow for small adjustments to get a snug, level fit. All you need is a wrench, and you’re ready to go.

Still is exactly what I hoped it would be. Adds security to my pick up bed, looks great and gets compliments. Plus it is easy to use. Great product...

After using it for a while Im extremely happy with this cover. It has been a game changer, making my 2008 Ford Ranger bed far more useable and convenient for carrying a variety of items. One of the best purchases Ive ever made for it.

After a year of use the cover still works perfectly and I would highly recommend this cover. I really like the fact that you can open up different sections without having to open the whole thing.

Hi Mardy. I have heard this to be a difficult install and the latches to be stiff (though adjusting them helps), but noisy, flimsy, and poor quality are firsts for a BAK product like this. What kind of noise are you getting? Is something maybe not tightened down all the way causing part to stick up? And, what part are you finding flimsy or poor quality?

Actually its closer to two years and I could not be more pleased. I have done a few rainy road trips and the one thing that worried me was if it would keep the contents dry and it did. Al else about the cover has been good too. Good product and it fit like a glove.

It has been holding on strong. One of the weather strips was coming undone, but I was able to adhere it back down.
