A lot of covers make you pick between soft and hard protection, but this one gives you both. The TruXedo Sentry CT uses thick 3/4" aluminum slats bonded to a premium 5-layer woven polyester and vinyl fabric. That combination keeps your gear safe from impacts, hail, and heavy weather while staying flexible enough to roll up in seconds. The black fabric top and all-black slats give it a clean, uniform look that fits right in with the truck’s lines.

When you need the whole bed, there’s no need to remove anything. Just pull a release cable at the tailgate—there’s one on each side—and roll the cover forward. Safety straps keep it tight at the cab so it won’t move or block your rear window. If you need even more space, the quick-release guides let you remove the entire cover without tools. It’s a hard cover that works as fast and easy as a soft roll-up.

Some covers sit high and catch the wind, but this one mounts just 1/2" above the bed rails. The 15-degree angled side rails give it a flush, low-profile fit that cuts down on noise and drag while helping fuel economy. The design also leaves stake pockets open for mounting tie-downs, bed rails, or other accessories, so you don’t lose any utility.

For peace of mind, the Sentry CT uses slam latches at the tailgate and extra security latches halfway down the bed. When the tailgate is closed and locked, the cover locks too—no extra steps needed. Rubber weather seals run along the rails to keep out water and dust, and the heavy-duty materials hold up through rain, snow, and UV exposure from -40°F to 120°F.

Installing this cover doesn’t require drilling or a long setup. The side rails clamp directly to the inside of the bed rails and automatically square themselves as the clamps tighten. That self-leveling design keeps everything even so the cover rolls smoothly and seals right every time. The rails also work with most bed liners, rail caps, and other in-bed accessories for an easy, integrated fit.

The Sentry and Sentry CT by TruXedo are hard roll up style truck bed covers that feature an extra low profile. The Sentry comes with a leather grain vinyl fabric and the Sentry CT comes with woven matte black fabric. Both feature fabric that is pressure bonded to heavy duty aluminum slats, making Sentry the ultimate in durability and security. Each cover ships with a cover assembly, driver and passenger side rails, and all the hardware necessary to install it on your truck. The only tools necessary are a half inch wrench and scissors.Clean the bulkhead area with alcohol. Make sure the rail sits level on top of the truck bed.
Slide the rail towards the bulkhead so that the foam seal is compressed about half way. Install a clamp in the center of the rail, using a half inch wrench to tighten.Install the real clamp about 12 inches from the tailgate. To ensure a proper seal, put pressure on top of the rail when tightening. Install the front clamp about 12 inches from the bulkhead. Repeat on the opposite side.Place the cover assembly on the rails at the bulkhead.
Line the screw head on the underside of the cover assembly with the slot in the rail on each side.Slide the header guides towards the rail to secure the rolled cover to the rails. After a year the cover is still looking great and working great. I wish I had purchased one of these when I purchased my truck, as it is nice to be able to securely store stuff in the bed of my truck.
