Hi Roscoe, thanks for reaching out. Yes, there is an aftermarket option for your 2023 Kia Niro that can be installed without any permanent modifications. You can use the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C36ZV. This harness plugs in behind the tail lights using custom-fit connectors, so there is no cutting or splicing required.

It does require running a power wire to the battery, but once installed, it can be removed later without leaving any permanent changes to the vehicle. It’s a clean, plug-and-play style setup that works well if you’re looking for something temporary or reversible.

What will you be towing?

jesse thank you for your response. I watched the installation video on the 2024 niro. I have two questions: 1] he doesn't show how he loosened bumper 2] does this work on the niro ev? again. thanks

@RoscoeB Hey Roscoe. You shouldn't have to loosen the bumper to install the wiring harness. There is a panel in the cargo area you have to remove, but the rest of the connectors should be accessible without loosening or removing the bumper. And yes this will work on the Niro and Niro EV.
