Availability Of Replacement Latch Parts For Yakima Skybox Cargo Box

Question:
The plastic piece attached to the plastic bar running through the lock mechanism was broken. Do you have a replacement piece for that? Specifically? We already bought replacement locking levers but the actual broken piece is the plastic inside of it.

Hello Ruby, thanks for reaching out. That plastic piece you mentioned is not available as a separate replacement part. I'm not seeing that Yakima even has a part number for it. You may want to try reaching out directly to Yakima to see if they are able to provide the piece you need.
What cargo box do you have specifically?

The latch handles arrived promptly and were exactly what was needed. Much to my surprise, they were easy to install. So easy, even a cave man could install them! ( :
