Hello Jonathan, thanks for reaching out. We do have plows that will work great on your 2023 GMC Black Widow. For that I recommend the following:

- SnowBear Snowplow for 2" Hitches - 82" Wide x 19" Tall # K2AVAL8219

This adjusts using an electric winch, and it has an in-cab switch and backup remote. It'll work great for residential or commercial jobs. It attaches to a front mounted hitch receiver which is sold separately. The front hitch is different for 1500 and 2500 models so please pick from the following:

- Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # C22NR (1500)

- Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # DT57MR (2500)

Please note, if you have the 1500, the # C22NR front hitch will not fit the AT4 model. Install may require trimming of the underbody panel, bumper fascia and front air dam.

With the plow and front hitch, you will have everything you need.

I have also included a link below that will show you our full selection of plows for the 2023 GMC 1500.

What kind of jobs will you be using the plow for?

I bought this set up (plow and hitch receiver) a couple years ago for my 2016 Nissan frontier and couldn't be happier! Pros: price$, easy to take on an off, I can push snow banks up to my shoulders (I'm 6'1 so like 5' ish high), all needed instructions were accounted for and easy to follow Cons: self assembly and install (this means you assembly the plow from blade to frame and install the wiring and stuff to your vehicle, was easy to do and follow, I enjoy doing that kind of stuff but can see how some might not) , if you want to angle the blade you have to get out and do that manually, it sticks out a little far off the front of my truck so I like to take it off after storms and only drive around town with it on occasionally. Overall I absolutely love it and it's made snow clean-up so easy. It's no hydraulic plow with all the bells and whistles but if you want a great way to clear a lot of snow without breaking the bank then this is a great option.

@TomC Thanks for the detailed write-up, Tom. That’s a great breakdown of the pros and cons, and it sounds like you’ve put that setup to work. Pushing snow banks that high with a Frontier is no small feat, so that says a lot about how well it performs for what it is. I also appreciate you calling out the install and blade angle trade-offs, that kind of real-world feedback really helps others decide if it’s the right fit for them. Thanks again for taking the time to share!
