Hitch is well made. Box it arrived in ,was damaged. The hitch didn’t appear to have any damage. Installation was easy, except I had to modify one of the anti-rotation brackets for clearance to the tow hook. Truck is a 2025 Chevrolet 1500 high country.
2nd Trail boss install. Much easier as it was not a diesel so I didn't need to go in from the front and pull the bumper (and the fascia and the grill and the core support cover) However, Curt needs to check their dimensioning regarding Chevy trucks. Same hitch, same truck frame, same alignment problem with the silver bolt in the kit. I needed to use the the OE bolt that has a lead-in and self straightening design.
NOTE: the lower air dam is deleted with the Trail Boss model. I added it to cover the hitch cross bar and clean up the view.

An excellent hitch (my 3rd front hitch from etrailer/Curt) but not the quick bolt in that I expected. The hitch had not been verified to fit a Trail Boss and etrailer quickly offered to accept a return when we realized this. I decided to keep it and see what the install took as I could see that the hitch would fit, but the tools to access the bolts would not.
It was a project, most of the front had to come off. But it’s in and looking good. I would like it a few inches higher but that is clearance for an air dam my truck does not have (I may decide to buy that piece to close the gap)
No cutting or drilling was required but two mounting shields for the lower cooler mounts were discarded. The hitch itself provides the protection these did. They could be re-installed with some modification and either shorter bolts, or drilling through the hitch and using the OE bolts.
Waited until my hitch got installed to give this review. This hitch fits great had minimal trimming and the bolt up went smooth. This is installed on a 2025silverado 1500 LTZ 4 x 4. Would highly recommend.

I had a hard time finding a front receiver hitch. I would of not gotten that model truck had I known. I finally got one and place I go to for work such as this told me would not fit.
I went to another guy that I was sure could make it work. He did and been fine. I am not in good health and living off SS so not really able to get out and do much. I mostly wanted this to haul dual sport on front of truck as well as use plug in winch for my 4x4.
Well I ended up getting a bigger bike and it will be to much weight for front hitch. May work but don't wish to push it.
Still can use winch and front bike cycle carrier as well as luggage rack. Nice to haul wood or generator when camper is on back, or boat.
I like it and would not have truck without one.
Fitment was perfect will work great for what I needed it for.
Package was damaged on delivery, hardware missing and poor ground clearance if hitch was installed.
First e-trailer purchase I've ever been disappointed with or returned.

I'm really sorry to hear about the trouble with your order. Damaged packaging, missing hardware, and the clearance issue? Totally understandable why you'd be frustrated. The only hitch we carry with better ground clearance is part # EH58RR, which installs through the front fascia. Just a heads-up though, it’s not made for diesel models, so if your truck is diesel, it won’t be a fit. Thanks for letting us know, and again, I’m really sorry this one didn’t work out.
Have not installed yet, but service is outstanding. Item arrived without hardware. They shipped out new hardware the same day.
