Question:
I want to place a front hitch on my truck. I have a 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500 crew cab with the 6.6 gasoline engine and 10 speed Allison transmission. I was looking at the EH57FR to have a 1000 lb vertical load. Will that fit? Also, I may not need that much vertical load. What other hitches do you reccomend?

Hey Rick! Yes, the EcoHitch Hidden Front Mount Trailer Hitch # EH57FR will fit your 2024 Silverado 2500. The only other options is the Curt # C52NR. I'm not sure what capacity you're looking for, but this is half of the EcoHitch at 500 lbs.
The Curt will save you a little money, but you also lose approximately 2" of ground clearance when compared to the EcoHitch. Personally, I prefer the better ground clearance for accessories but it all depends on your needs.

I installed this on my 24’ Silverado 2500 HD, it is very inconspicuous and will handle the vertical load fine. Worth the extra money over the Curt.

FRI have had both hitches, the lighter weight one on my 2015 3500 Chevy and the EH57FR on my 2025 3500 Chevy. The added 500 pounds capacity is nice but the real advantage is that the EH57FR receiver is about three inches higher off of the ground making it far more useable. I was always bumping curbs with the lighter weight one.

This thing was easy to install and works great for putting my boat into the garage. Highly recommend to everyone that puts their boat away in garage after use or other toy trailers. F

Fairly easy to put on, tucks in quite nicely under the front. Can hardly tell it’s there. Did have an issue with correct size bolts being long enough.
