Install Video for Demco Stay In Play DUO On 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Updated 01/27/2026 | Published 01/24/2026

Question:

I just received the DM86VR Demco Stay-In-Play Duo and Im trying to figure out the best place to mount the G-Force Controller II. I have a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee TrailHawk. The emergency brake pedal is in the way to place it where recommended. Im also curious as to where to mount the control unit in the engine compartment. I could not find any videos or photos on the etrailer site that shows this exact model installation. Thanks so much for you help in advance. Bill

Hey Bill, did you check out the install video for the 2021 Jeep Cherokee for the Demco DUO Braking System part # DM86VR? If not, I attached a link to it on this page. You might need to scroll down a little bit to find it. It shows where we installed all of the components on the vehicle.

Hi Jameson. I did watch the video for the 2021 Jeep Cherokee you reference in your response. However, the video does not show installation of the Demco DUO Braking System Part # DM86VR (although the title refers to it). It actually shows installation of the Air Force Once controller for air brakes. The controller for the DUO Braking System is thicker than the Air Force One controller so installing it on top of the fuse box will not work.

@BillK Sorry about that! I attached a different to this message that shows it installed on a 2020 just like yours. At 3:04 you can see where we installed the underhood box.
