Welcome back Larry!

What you are looking for is the Curt Weight Distribution Shank - 10" Long - 5-3/4" or 6-1/8" Drop - 1,500 lbs TW # 17120. This has the needed drop you are looking for, has plenty of tongue and towing weight capacity, and will work perfectly with your Fastway e2 system (Fastway bolt spacing on the head and shank is 1-1/4" on center and so is this Curt shank).

There are other options out there, like the Fastway # FA92-02-4214, but this Curt one is a better price at the moment.

What kind of trailer are you towing with your new Ranger?

Thanks, but I just bought the fast way 4214. I will be towing a forest river R-Pod 178. Just under 3000 lbs

@LazerS Just received, the 4214 shank and it is too short. The ball height is 19.5" and the top of the hitch is 18? The shank I received is exactly the same as the one I had which was too short.

@LarryM Little confused by what you mean. The # FA92-02-4214 shank offers 5.5" of drop and with your truck sitting at 21-3/8" high, this shank should get you even with your trailer. Where did you measure that 21-3/8" from?
