Updated 01/21/2026 | Published 01/19/2026

Question:

I have a 2025 Ford Bronco Big Bend with factory installed tow wiring. I need the connector but confused one which version to get this model or the Code: HM75MV? Thanks in advance

Hey Charlie! The Curt Dual Connection Socket # C36GJ and the Hopkins Endurance Multi-Tow # HM75MV both fit your 2025 Bronco so it is a matter of quality and design. The Curt connector costs a little more but I prefer their design and they make a much sturdier connector. Since this is a part you want to hold up over a long period of time it is the best option and the one I recommend.

What will you be towing once you add the connector to your Bronco?

Occasionally a trailer mostly a bike rack. Additional thinking about connect ing reverse lights too.

@Charlie assuming the tow package circuits are active the 7-way will have power on the reverse light circuit once you install the connector so that would work on your trailer.

We used the Curt connector on our 2024 Black Diamond Bronco. You;'ll have to dremel out a small bit of the rear bumper to allow both connector doors to fully open. Also, the our Bronco did not come with a trailer brake controller - but the Curt connects to the factory connector and the running & brake lights work. For our rare use of a trailer (we normally use the receiver for off-roading "things", this is fine for us. Otherwise, you'll have to get a controller and figure how to wire it to the factory harness and enable the controller/trailer mode with Forscan or other factory software tool in the vehicle's software. Bronco6G forum has much more detail on this.
