Hey Frank,
The conversion kit you mentioned # LC329251 is only compatible with Solera awnings and would not work for your Dometic awning. For your Dometic you will need to go with the Solera # LC434729which is designed to work with Dometic awnings. This will work with your existing roller and fabric so if that is still in good shape you won't have to worry about replacing that.
