It wires into your RV and connects to your battery so it's always ready to go. If you ever find yourself without power and you need to get the awning back into place, there's a manual override built into the drive head that you can use to retract or extend your awning with a power drill (not included).
Note: The manual override function is not available on 2017 Forest River Cherokee campers.

I am very pleased with my power awing after installing the conversion kit. The installation of the included was very simple though I had to search the internet for installation instruction as none were included. Buyers should be aware that there may be issues providing power to the unit.
Works great. Switch is not waterproof but found a waterproof box at a home improvement store.
Found this product to be very good but found some pieces missing from the order.
There were also no instructions included in order to install the product. Had to
find other resources for instructions. We found Brittany to be very helpful in obtaining
the missing parts but have not received them yet.
Product is fine would like instructions sent to me by mail Reesa sent link but was no help wouldn't let me find site not her fault she is very helpful
