Does Redarc Tow Pro Liberty with Custom Harness for 2021 4Runner Require Diode

When using the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller on a 2021 Toyota 4Runner, Do I need the Redarc Encapsulated Power Diode? I have read that the Liberty interferes with the 4Runner’s ABS and Traction Control System without the Diode.

Hey Steve, we have the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty with Custom Harness part # RED82CR that fits your 2021 Toyota 4Runner and would not require any additional diodes. This harness was designed for the tow package of your 4Runner so it would not cause any issues with the ABS.
