Yes would like to invert the hitch so its sits higher off the ground I wld need to have a center cut in the middle of the bumper look more custom look Can the be done and functional

I wouldn't be able to encourage modifying the B&W trailer hitch part # BW97BR. It wouldn't be safe or functional to do so. What are you using the hitch for? Do you have concerns with ground clearance with a bike rack or other hitch mounted accessory? Let me know and I can look into alternate solution for you.
