Question:
I have a 99 F350 crew cab long bed that I have been having lots of trailer light issues with. Im planning to remove all of the existing wiring and connectors from the bed. I will trace it further up the frame and find a good place to splice and rerun all new wiring and connectors. Could you make a recommendation on which products to purchase to do this? I will need a 7 pin in the bed and in the bumper as well as a flat 4 on the bumper. Thank you

Hey Skip, for a new 7-way and 4-way at the rear of your 1999 Ford F-350 you would want the Hopkins part # HM40975 and then for a kit to install a 7-way in the bed of your truck you'd want the part # 41157. This part number comes with the harness that runs from the rear mounted 7-way all the way up to the bed of the truck. We don't have a harness that would run to the rear of the vehicle for the rear mounted 7-way though. Do you need the harness for the rear 7-way too?

Hey Skip, how did things go with the Hopkins wiring setup for your F-350? Did the 7-way and 4-way connectors end up solving your trailer light issues? Your update could make it easier for others working through the same wiring project.
