2025 GMC Sierra 2500 5th Wheel Hitch Recommendation for OEM Puck System and 6-1/2' Bed

Question:

What 5th wheel hitch is recommended for my 2025 Sierra 2500. I have the 6.5 bed and not sure if I need the sliding version or not.

Hey Carter, thanks for reaching out!

The GM trucks with the 6-1/2' bed can use a stationary hitch as long as the 5th wheel trailer has a tapered nose.

For your 2025 GMC Sierra 2500 I recommend using the PullRite OEX SuperLite # PUL96ZR for a few reasons; it's lighter than standard 5th wheel hitches (it only weighs in at 78 lbs), the hitch ball to funnel coupler connection makes it easier to connect your truck and trailer together, and then there is some offset built into the hitch so you get a little extra clearance.
