Hey Steven,

Without knowing the weight of the boat/trailer combined it is hard to tell what capacity jack you will need. Generally something like the Fulton XLT # F26ZR is a good option. It is a sidewind manual jack that bolts around the frame. Offers a 1,500lb capacity and a caster wheel to make maneuvering easy.

If you want to let me know a little bit more about the weight of your trailer and or boat I can take a look and see if there is a better fit option.

Hi Nick, the boat and trailer are about 3600 pounds. Just wondering if there is a little less expensive option than the original one you suggested. Thanks in advance.

@Steven Thank you for getting me that information. We have an etrailer boat jack # MJ-1200B that is going to offer a 1,200lb lift capacity. For your boat and trailer this is plenty. It installs around trailer frames 2"- 4" tall so you want to double check that yours will accommodate this jack. I think you will like that price tag a bit better than the first one I suggested. Fully extended this jack sits at 23-1/2" and fully retracted 12-1/2".
