Best Rock Guard for a Demco Kar Kaddy

Looking for options for a rock guard that fits 2025 Jayco Greyhawk 30z Class C, pulling a DEMCO kar caddy. Would prefer something that we can easily put on hitch and remove when not in use.

Hey Catherine. The easiest way to add a rock guard is to mount one directly to your Demco Kar Kaddy, you'll want the Sentry Deflector for Demco Kar Kaddy Tow Dollies item # DM5950. This deflector mounts directly to your Kar Kaddy's tongue with included u-bolts. It's made of high density plastic mounted at a 30 degree angle to deflect rocks and debris back down to the roadway.
For a traditional mud flap style of protector, that mounts directly to your RV, I recommend the Blue Ox Adjustable Mud Flap System w/Rock Screen item # BLU49UR for 2" hitches or item # BLU69UR for 2-1/2". These are made of 3/8" thick black rubber and attach directly to your tow bar or high low adapter. They are adjustable and have a rock screen that mounts in between the flaps. Please note that you will need a minimum of 1" of space between the end of your hitch and the closest portion of your tow bar or high-low adapter.

Hi Jerred! We went ahead and purchased the BLU69UR from etrailer. We tow a 2019 VW Jetta. I think we have the minimum 1" space, but double checking now! Thank you for the recommendations!
