To pass wires and hose through the firewall of a 2012 to 2019 Fiat 500, carefully unbolt the throttle pedal from the firewall. Pull back the carpet. The sound damping material will be exposed. Ther will be a bulge in the sound damping material about the size of a quarter. Cut that padding out and you will find a plug in a hole of the firewall. Push out the plug. In the engine bay, the hole can be found just behind the vacuum booster at the 11 o’clock position.
