Question:
Why cant the air manifold be mounted upside down? I found a safe clean spot on a frame rail that is about 45 degrees from vertical. Will that work?

Great question, and it’s awesome that you’re planning ahead before mounting your Air Lift WirelessONE system. The manifold can’t be mounted upside down because of how it’s built internally. The solenoids and valves inside rely on gravity to seat correctly, and the design allows any condensation that forms to drain away from the electronics when it’s mounted upright or on its side. If it’s flipped upside down, moisture can collect inside the housing, which may cause corrosion, sticking valves, or even electrical damage over time.
Since you mentioned mounting it about 45 degrees from vertical, as long as the manifold is not mounted upside down and the electrical connector isn’t pointed downward, it should be perfectly fine.

Hey, how did the 45-degree mounting position for your Air Lift WirelessONE system turn out? It sounds like that angle should have kept the manifold safe from moisture buildup. Sharing how it worked could help others planning a similar setup.
