Good morning, I am shopping for parts for a flat tow setup and rear hitch for a 2019 Jeep Cherokee. What parts include free installation? Thank you.

Hey Dave. To add a hitch to your 2019 Jeep Cherokee, I recommend our etrailer Hitch item # e73ZR. This hitch is custom fit for your Jeep and comes with all hardware necessary to complete the installation. It fits all models including the Trailhawk. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver that has a 4,500 lbs towing capacity and a maximum tongue weight of 675 lbs.

To flat tow your 2019 Jeep Cherokee you will need the following parts:

Tow Bar and Safety Chains - etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar item # e34ZR

Base Plate Kit - etrailer Invisible Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms item # e98951 if you have the Overland or Trailhawk models with factory tow hooks. Or item # e98953 if you have any other model of the 2019 Jeep Cherokee that does not have tow hooks.

Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267

Charge Line - Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles item # RM-156-25

Supplemental Braking System - Curt RVi Series 4 Portable Flat Tow Brake System - Wireless Monitor item # RVI44FR

High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter. I have linked a FAQ article that explains all this in more detail along with our selection of adapters.

Thanks for the reply. We just bought the RV (2022 Renegade Valencia) and are in the process of finding a Jeep Cherokee or Grand Cherokee 2019 or 2020....we hope to get the jeep in the next couple of days and get the accessories installed ASAP. We are in Northwest Indiana but will come to you for installation. (If installion is free it makes the drive worth it). I can update you as soon as we buy the flat tow vehicle.
