Replacement Leaf Spring for 1969 Bock Dragstar Race Car Hauler
Updated 10/30/2025 | Published 10/14/2025 >
Question:
Rebuilding a vintage 1969 Bock Dragstar race car hauler. Previous owner said he upgraded to 3500 lb. axles in the 1970s. Axle tubes measure 2.375inch diameter. Current springs are 4 leaf slipper style, 26 1/2inch to 26 5/8inch eye to end of spring. Leaf thickness is .375. Am thinking about replacing the springs since the trailer has gone countless miles traveling to dragstrips across country for many years. Would you recommend SP-230275 springs as a replacement?

Hey Rick, yes based on what you described the replacement slipper spring part # SP-230275 would be the correct replacement that would work well. It's for a 4k axle and it has the same length you need.
That's a sweet race car! I don't know Mopars that well so I am not sure exactly what it is but it's a great looking muscle car!
