It sure is, Alan. The Maxxis ST225/75R15 radial on the # MXS99FR has an N speed rating 87 mph, which is among the best you’ll find in a trailer tire. The radial design runs cooler than bias tires, making it ideal for long highway hauls. Just maintain 80 psi cold for full capacity and even tread wear.
A really nice benefit is the pre-balanced tires that have balancing beads in them; this means you won't have to spend money and time getting them balanced at a shop.
Do you use a tire pressure monitoring system TPMS? It’s one of the best tools for preventing blowouts on long trips.
