When you’ve got serious weight to move, this tire and wheel combo is ready for it. The Kenda Karrier KR53 ST225/75R15 radial tire carries up to 2,860 lbs at 80 psi and is rated Load Range E with a speed rating N (87 mph). It runs cooler and wears evenly, so even when you’re maxed out on payload, it delivers solid grip and confident tracking every mile.
No need to find a shop or pay mounting fees—this setup comes mounted on a 15" black mod steel wheel and is already inflated. Just bolt it on and go. The 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern with 1/2"-20 wheel bolts and a 4.27" pilot diameter makes fitment straightforward for heavy-duty hubs.
Long trips and hot pavement can cook lesser tires. The KR53 radial design keeps heat buildup low while the tread pattern tracks straight and reduces rolling resistance. That means steadier handling, better fuel efficiency, and fewer worries when you’re pushing long highway miles.
Rain, gravel, and grime are no match for the corrosion-resistant powder-coated finish. The steel wheel is built tough to resist rust year after year, keeping your setup looking sharp and lasting longer in all kinds of weather.
If the tire fails under normal use within the first year, Kenda replaces it—no questions asked. Combined with a limited 2-year warranty on the wheel, it’s peace of mind that your tire and wheel combo is covered from day one.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here from etrailer and today I'm at N.A.T.M. And this convention brings a lot of the vendors that we have at etrailer to a convention where we have their booths and their products set up. I had a chance to catch up with quite a few of them. So let's take a look at their products a little bit up close and ask some of the questions to those vendors about their products. I'm here with Dave from Kenda. And Dave, what is Kenda Yeah, Kenda is a global tire company, right We have operations around the world and we're in a lot of different categories from automotive to light truck, lawn and garden, bicycle, specialty tires, power sports.
So Kenda really is involved in several different categories as a tire manufacturer, which is really unique for us in the marketplace. So if you cover that wide of spectrum, obviously you guys have tires nailed down and the same goes for trailer tires. Yeah. Yes sir. You know the nice part about it is collaboration of engineering, right So you know what we learn from an automotive design as it relates and what attributes are more beneficial in a trailer application, a more ST, specific tire, and we can learn from one another and our engineering staff a lot of collaboration and conversations.
Sure. Absolutely So taking a look at some of your trailer tires, what do we have today Well, you know, one of the key ones I think most recently, which is gonna be an etrailer very, very soon is our KR53. It's relatively new design, it's been a little bit on the market and we've got some history in market. Very good performance. And when you think about tires, you know you have a choice as a consumer, right In just about everything.
Good, better, best, right So this really fits in the probably good category, economically price position, but the integrity and the quality of it is still there at sort of a premium level. So the value for money that you get is very strong. You know, we use a lot of the same, you know, compounding core structure, design, profile, those are all things that are really just a little bit slightly de tuned from a premium sector. But I think it gives the consumer and neighbors a little bit of a choice in how they actually use their trailer at the end of the day. That makes sense.
So you get all the same safety qualities and confidence you get with the tire, but it's more catered to someone that doesn't maybe use their trailer every day for work. That's correct. You look at maybe the difference in tread depths, right You're not using it on road on long distances. This might be a little bit better suited for you. So not only do you offer tires, but you also offer an assembly which is wheel and tire combo Dave Yeah, and I think that's a really a kinda advantage to be truthful, right So you know, our technical center in North America is in Canton, Ohio, right Epicenter of tires, right And we design, we engineer, R&D, research and then we produce in our own factories, right Nothing is outsourced, it's all internal. So we control that through the entire process and then we take it one step further into the assembly process, right So we look at it as a Kenda advantage, we can control it all the way through, which provides a lot of inherent advantages. And I think that's 'cause we're thinking of every aspect along the way is how it comes together as a total assembly package on an OE application on a trailer or in the aftermarket sold through etrailer. And that's great too because instead of having to take your wheel and get your tire mounted, you can get it all one go take your lug nuts off, swap it and you're ready to rock. Absolutely. Yep. And cool designs too. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. If you want to add a little bit of, you know, eye candy to your trailer, anytime you have something cool on your trailer, you wanna make the trailer look cool as well. Lots of cool wheel offerings. So you can really customize that trailer, give it the look you want. So taking a look at this, this looks like more of a all trainer mud tire, but this is a trailer tire. Dave Well you're getting smarter and smarter learning a lot tires. Yes, it is a mud tire design and aesthetically pleasing to give that off-road look and feel in a trailer application. Inherited advantages. You know, it's not a drive tire, right So you're still gonna have some traction benefits and also when you're in a off-road situation or outback or where you might be traveling, you know the thickness of the tread, you're still gonna run into sticks. You're still gonna run into stones and boulders and rocks. So the sidewall design helps in protection 'cause obviously you want to get out into that environment but you also want to get back. That's right. So that's the difference. That makes sense. And that's where, yeah, you overlanders out there, I've seen plenty of the trailer setups and predominantly you're gonna see tires like this and you're a hundred percent right, you're gonna be off-roading in your truck and those are the drive tires that'll see the abuse. But this is getting pulled behind it. You wanna protect it all the same. It doesn't look bad either if your trailer tires match your truck tires. Not at all. Again, going back to having choices of wheels, tires say a lot to me because there are some patterns that really just stand out. This is absolutely one of them. Huge thanks to Dave from Kenda taking the time to kinda break down some of the trailer tires and combos of wheels that you offer. Thank you very much. Oh, thank you. I mean the more we can help educate and promote, you know, tire, tire safety and what's good for your neighbors, we're here for you. Ask anytime, we appreciate the opportunity for you to be with us today. Thank you. Thank you very much.

Tires and wheels
High quality fast shipping
One of the 2 tires order had a blow out. See picture attached.
I ordered a set of 5 tires with wheels and received them in a timely manner with no issue. All assembled and consistent air pressure in each tire. After just over 1000 miles they are wearing fine with no issues.
Shipped right away after order. Received 4 days after ordering. Very nice tires and wheels at a great price. Very happy.
Great service fast shipping
I was sent a tire with chips in the paint and the tire with some dirt. It appears it was mounted on a trailer and returned. It appears it may not have miles on it - not sure! But it was mounted then returned. I paid for a new wheel/tire not on that had been used and should have been sold at a discount as used.

I would update and raise my rating to 5 star. etrailerhas a great customer service and corrected the issue. They do a good job in the satisfaction area of business and are very polite and helpful.
I have not needed it yet, but it sits ready to serve me in my trailer.
Looks good and appears balanced with hub hole centered packaged well as always with etrailer. Had it within a week in time to tow my equipment
I'm truly impressed by this order and experience. this was my first purchase from Etrailer, and the shipping status info they give is phenomenal, I greatly appreciate the accountability they provide throughout the process. Also, the Kenda tire and wheel I ordered was excellent quality, and the price was great for what I got, fits perfect on my 24' enclosed vehicle hauler. I'll certainly be ordering more wheels and tires from Etrailer simply because of all the factors in my experience. thank you Etrailer for making it a simple, efficient and positive purchasing experience. Keep it up!
Perfect fit. Inexpensive upgrade to get more premium E rated tires on your rig with a higher speed rating. I replaced 2 tires/wheels on my travel trailer since one of the OEM tires exploded on me while on a recent trip. They were shipped as an assembly, completely ready to install. I definitely recommend.
The tires came on time and are exactly what I ordered. Very happy with e trailer we have
Very fast shipping and I really appreciated the detailed tracking information during the shipping process. The tire and rim I ordered was exactly what I needed
Ordered a set of 4 of these for my Toy Hauler trailer. These are an exact replacement wheel/tire package at a fair price. The order arrived just a couple of days after ordering and neatly packaged in individual boxes. Outstanding service!
Just received tires via ups. FAST shipping and what I ordered. UPS did not knock so not exactly sure when delivered. Steel wheels look great, no issues with powerboat. Tire have a manufacturing date “ 2725 “, meaning over 1 year old, but look good. Took down and had balanced via lug holes and will mount on trailer in am while checking electric brakes, bearings and regressing hubs.
Over all, happy with this order, as it increased from 8 ply 10 year old china bombs to a 10 ply.Let us see how they run down the road! Hopefully better mileage pulling toy!
Thanks ETrailer!!!
