Which Timken bearing kit would I need for my 2018 cougar 29res fifth wheel. Thanks

Hey Wayne, thanks for the information. However, the VIN number doesn't help me. There's no database like cars have where I can use it to look up part numbers.
I checked online and it looks like your 2018 Keystone Cougar 29RES has two 5,200 lbs axles. We've got two options for Timkin bearing kits that work with 5,200 lbs axles but which one you need will depend on what size grease spindle your hubs have.
If your grease seal has a 2.250" ID you'll need the Timken Bearing Kit item # TMK72VR.
If your grease seal has a 2.125" ID you'll need the Timken Bearing Kit item # TMK22VR.
They're sold individually so you'll need one per hub.
If you look at the diagram below, measurement B on the spindle is what you're looking for. You'll need to take a digital caliper like item # PTW80157 and measure this spot to find out what size seal you have.

Hey Wayne, were you able to measure the spindle on your Cougar’s axle to see which Timken bearing kit fits? Knowing which seal size matched up could really help others trying to replace their bearings too.
