Hey Joseph. Since your 2022 Ram 2500 has the factory air suspension, I recommend adding the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System item # TDR2500D. These progressive rate springs install where your bump stops are currently mounted. The more weight you put on them the more they will engage and support your truck's suspension.

What kind of 5th wheel trailer do you have?

I have a Grand design Solitude, I also pull a trailer with a Polaris ranger behind it I weighed the unit on a Cat scale Steer axle 5160lb Drive axle 7000 lb Camper and trailer combined 17,400 lb Total 29,560 lb With the air ride maintaining normal ride height will this extra load cells get any extra weight on them the rear of truck does not squat. Will it effect the ride when the truck is empty?

@JosephN The side to side issue makes more sense now. Do you get that feeling when you're not towing a trailer behind your 5th wheel trailer? If you don't the problem is sway with your tandem trailer set up and I do not have anything that will address that. If your air ride maxed out is keeping your suspension from sagging then there most likely won't be enough weight on the rear end to engage the springs. You could lower the air pressure and let the Timbren's engage and see if that helps. The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System item # TDR2500D will affect your ride when your truck is empty.

@Joseph We do not have one. Do you get that side to side feeling when you're not towing a trailer behind your 5th wheel trailer?
