When you’re towing or hauling a big load, rear-end sag and bounce can throw off your control. The TorkLift StableLoad Suspension Upgrade pre-activates your factory lower overload springs using stainless steel wedge pads that fill the gap between the springs. By engaging those overloads from the start, the system distributes weight more evenly and helps your truck stay level so steering and braking feel stable even with a heavy payload.
Uneven roads and tight turns can make your suspension lean or wobble when it’s under load. The angled structure of each StableLoad pad maximizes contact with the spring surface to reduce side-to-side sway and body roll. Each wedge pack can be adjusted to fit perfectly in the gap between your rear springs, giving you solid, balanced support that keeps the vehicle feeling planted instead of loose or top-heavy.
When you’re done towing or want your stock ride back, you can pivot the StableLoads out of engagement in minutes. The hinged quick-disconnect setup uses a standard 3/8" ratchet extension (not included) to swing the wedge packs in or out. That means you get a stable, supported ride when hauling, and you can return to your normal spring ride when driving unloaded—no tools or teardown required.
Rain, salt, and dirt won’t wear these down. Each StableLoad unit is made from stainless steel for protection against corrosion and harsh conditions. The kit includes four StableLoad units with all necessary hardware, and each one bolts onto the end of your lower overload spring with no drilling required—only small 1/8" dimples to set placement. Once installed, they deliver dependable support trip after trip.
If you’re already running air bags, these StableLoads make them even better. By carrying part of the weight through the overload springs, they let you run lower psi in your air bags so they don’t take all the stress off your factory suspension. The result is smoother handling with less porpoising, sway, or body roll—especially when hauling heavy loads—while keeping your factory suspension working as designed.

We’ve been very happy the torq lift product. Easy to engage and disengage and keeps the truck stable. We tow an enclosed trailer and it helps keep the weight distribution level as well. Very glad we used this method over air bags or torsion bars.
