Question:

Do you have a 1.25 in hitch for a 2024 Subaru Outback Wilderness model?

Hi Dennis; it looks like you already found out that a Class III hitch is the only option for your 2024 Outback Wilderness since you ordered the # DT73RR. A reducer like the Trailer Hitch Receiver Adapter - 2" to 1-1/4" Hitch # e38YR will take that down to a 1-1/4" receiver for any accessories you're trying to use. However, you need to keep in mind that the use of this adapter cuts your capacity by 50% so make sure you don't overload your setup.

What are you using the hitch for?

It will be used for a Thule bike rack.

Another question? Am I overthinking using the draw tight bolt and the anti rattle cover?

@DennisW you mean the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # 63232 and the Draw-Tite QSP Trailer Hitch Silencer and Cover # 63080? Since you're using an adapter like that I don't think it is overkill. The extra part will definitely add in unwanted movement so the two will work together to keep that at a minimum.

@RobinH Question for you? Do you ever get or have any return merchandise that is a Thule lock cap for the receiver bolt used to secure the rack in the hitch? Missing ours. Denny

@Dennis if we did it would be listed under the corresponding part number and you would be able to see we had a used one available at an adjusted price.
