Question:

I currently have a kodiak disc kit on my trailer part K2HR35DS with grease bearings. Can these be converted to oil bath? if so, do you have what part numbers i need to do that? Thank you

Hello Eddie,

I have the perfect kit for you.

To convert your 3,500-pound Kodiak disc brakes # K2HR35DS to an oil bath, you’ll want the Kodiak XL ProLube Kit for 3,500-lb axles # XLPROLUBE1980KIT. This kit includes:

- 1 bottle of bearing lubricant

- 2 inner oil seals

- 2 oil bath caps

Be sure to remove all of the existing grease from your spindles before installing so it doesn’t contaminate the oil.

What kind of trailer is this going on?

Hey Eddie, Did the Kodiak XL ProLube Kit work well for converting your trailer's disc brakes to an oil bath? I'm asking because your experience could help others looking to make a similar upgrade.
