Brake Controller Options For 2025 Volvo XC60 With Factory Tow Package

Question:
I have a 2025 Volvo XC60 with factory installed foldable hitch package. Im looking at towing a 3000 trailer. All of the brake controllers I see say without factory tow package. Is there a brake controller available for my vehicle?

Hello Bob, thanks for reaching out. So none of our brake controller manufacturers (Curt, Tekonsha, Redarc ect...) make a custom pigtail for the Volvo XC60. Assuming your vehicle has a factory 7-way plug and factory brake control port, you can still install one of our in-cab controllers. You will simply need to remove the factory brake control port and hardwire the controller. Or you could skip that step and use a wireless controller like the Curt Echo # C51180 you were looking at.
