I have a 2025 Volvo XC60 with the 1 1/4 inch retractable hitch. My bike rack is a Kuat NV 2 inch rack. I purchased a 1 1/4 to 2 inch adaptor but I get a lot of rattle. My hitch does not have a collar so I don’t think the RM 061-125 would work. What do you suggest? I have a locking bolt but I’m trying to get rid of the rattle and movement.

Hello Tim, thanks for reaching out. You are right that the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch # RM-061-125 will not work since your hitch does not have a collar. There would be nothing for the u-bolt to grab on to. This will unfortunately be the case for all of the anti-rattle devices we offer. There is no way to attach them to a receiver with no collar.
Is your hitch an OEM hitch from Volvo? That style of receiver does not look familiar and it looks pretty unique. Sadly, we do not have an anti-rattle option for this kind of hitch. Using hitch adapters like that is not really ideal since they can lead to a lot of excessive play. They also exaggerate the amount of tongue weight on your hitch so they are generally not recommended unless there is no other choice.
The best solution I can offer you is to use the version of the Kuat NV that is intended for a 1-1/4" hitch part # BA12B. This way you will have no need for the adapter.
