Can I use a Dometic ct single zone thermostat in place of the Advent acth12p thermostat with an Advent ADV86SR a/c?

No, they won't work together Tony. The new R32 Advent Air RV Air Conditioner item # ADV86SR won't work with Dometic CT Single Zone Thermostat item # DMC83ZR. You'll need to stick with an Advent thermostat.

Please note that the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner item # ADV86SR has the new R32 coolant in it and is not backwards compatible with any system made prior to 2025. If you are wanting to add this AC unit you'll need the air box and thermostat too. These are included with the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System item # ADV62SR.
