This electric heat strip works with your R32 compatible AC unit (sold separately) to remove the chill from your RV or camper on cold or frosty mornings. Power cord and mounting hardware are included for easy, plug-and-play installation.
Features:
Specs:
Note: This unit is not backwards compatible with any AC systems from 2024 and earlier. Only pair with systems using the new R32 refrigerant that meets 2025 EPA regulations.
Paired with your AC unit (sold separately), this electric heat strip takes the chill out of your RV on cool, frosty mornings. It is operated with the control dial or touch control pad on the air distribution box (sold separately) or your thermostat on ACR-series or AAC-series air conditioners. After you change the setting to "heat", the compressor will shut off, and the fan will blow air over the heater and into your RV. Please also note that the heat strip only has one temperature setting.
To install, mount the heat strip to the evaporator inside the AC unit with the included mounting screws. The heat strip has easy, plug-and-play installation with the supplied 30" power cord.

Suggested part for ac.
Fits very well and works great
I will definitely order things from here again. Everything shows up in a timely fashion and you can always get a hold of somebody that can fill you in thank you guys very much.
The heat strip was a seamless install and worked without a problem.
great price and service
I put this on a new Advent AC I installed on the front of my Fifth wheel lat week. We just got back from a camping trip and the weather outside was raining and high temps around 45º F. This worked very well to keep our bedroom quite warm and will save a lot of LP.
The heat strip puts out mildly warm air, just barely warmer than room temperature. It works, but I probably wouldn’t install it if I ever have to replace this unit again.

I mean, that's a fair assessment - these really only take the edge off, so to speak.
Not happy at all with this unit. Regretted after installation was complete. Fan is very loud and runs constantly. When air compressor is not running fan keeps running sucking in hot humid air from outside. I added it as a second air conditioner to work alongside my Coleman Mach, which is a quiet reliable unit.
I don't recommend and will not buy again.
It works great to take a little chill out of the air in the morning.
Pretty easy. Good instructions.
Great add on! Propane only now for on demand hot water heater!
Overall, I'm a little disappointed by Advent. There manufacturing processes are cheap and shoddy. I had to disassemble the whole electrical junction box so I could complete what should have been a rather simple plug in connection, I realize itis a lower priced alternative, but it is the simple things that count. As advertised it is not a very robust heating system but it in fact barely warms the air at all.

The heat strip really isn't meant to be a primary heat source. It's meant to take a bit of chill out of the air, but not to heat the entire RV.
The circuit board had power going in and not out. I had an electrician and an HVAC guy look at it and neither one could get it to work
The 1st one I received didn't work. I worked through ASA directly to troubleshoot the issue and they provided a replacement free of charge.
Once installed the thermostat wouldn't control it (didn't show as a choice on the display) and worked with ASA to get a thermostat replacement free of change and now the whole system works properly. I prefer it over the fireplace for taking the chill off in the RV because the warmth is more evenly distributed.

It was the easiest way to replace the old AC by using the accessory kit . Highly recommend purchasing both
