Trailer Hitch Availability for a Honda Civic Hybrid Hatchback

Question:

Hi, I was wondering if you will be making a tow hitch for the Honda Civic Hybrid Hatchback? Your current one for the hatchback doesnt fit the hybrid. Im asking because I am considering buying it. Thanks

@Mark I checked with our manufacturers and unfortunately it doesn't look like any of them have a hitch that fits. What were you wanting the hitch for?

@JonG, for a bike rack. I'd prefer not to mount a bike on a roof rack. Though it would seems that's the best option as I wouldn't want to attach a bike rack to the hatch.

@Mark I definitely get where you're coming from, but I also agree that a roof mount would be the better way to go. If you ended up going that route, I recommend picking up the Thule WingBar Evo # TH88BG roof rack and the Yakima FrontLoader # Y02103 as a solid bike rack that works with a wide variety of bikes out there. There are a few different combinations we can get to change things up if you'd like, but this will at least give you an idea of the parts you need.
