Install was easy enough. This is the 2nd harness I'veinstalled. Both quit working 4-6 months after Install. I don't think I'll order a 3rd.
Install was smooth. Instruction video was great! Tows kayak and small uhaul trailers well. I have a 2013 Civic LX Sedan.
A simple solution to what could be a wiring nightmare for me
Just received wiring harness for Honda Civic 2013. Piece of cake installation. The instructions are good and the referenced video better. Last week I installed harness on 2018 Honda CVR. Not a piece of cake. Pulled the panels out to install and could not find the module to plug in. Called etrailer and got a tech call back within three hours which I found to be great service on a Saturday afternoon. Took him about three minutes on a speaker phone to fix my problem. Works great and the price is very competitive. If you need help, these are the guys.
Man I am very very pleased with both of my purchases I have recently made. I bought a trailier hitch receiver and the car trailer wiring harness for a 08 civic. They beat all the competition price wise and product wise. Autozone want $190 for the harness and would take time to ship they had it for $30 and got it in two days hooked up within 10minutes.
Product installed fairly easily. I used it to pull a [rental trailer] full of equipment back from college for the summer. Was a little harder to install that I thought but I got the job done. The wiring was very easy. I'm happy. It works and aid for itself in one pull versus renting a truck.

Everything worked fantastic. The hitch receiver bolted up easy with the supplied installation helpers. I remember it uses a torque wrench so have one handy.
I used the plug in wire harness and that worked great. I’m an electrician and was ready to splice, solder, heat shrink - but for the forty bucks or so plug and play was the way to go.
I was delighted with the instillation procedures and instructions. Thank you for the informative videos and wiring harness diagrams.
There is a couple of things I would like to point out. One would imagine that most of us do not have a lift or another helper. Like me all I had was jack and a jack stand which creates a whole new dynamic of an installation. With this in mind it would of been so much easier to somehow stabilizethe long thin 1/2" metal strip with welded nut on end by using a throw away metal U-Shape clamp that would hug around the metal strip holding it firmly around the protruding corrugated corrugated beam structural beam which in turn stabilizes the metal strip, holding the nut firmly over the hole would then eliminate the need for a helper. Let me make it clear on did it all my self with use of duck tape. Further while I was laying on my back under the jack I held or balanced one end of the high bar with my feet and the other end with my 2 hands and after trial and error I finally got it installed after many attempts. There is almost to different ways to install with a helper and a lift and with out a helper Also great plug and play wiring harness. It would have been nice to had a video for that but after scouring the instructions and talking with my friend I got it.
The videos of hitch and wiring kit installs were easy and direct to my vehicle very easy and a fun quick project no guess work
