What Are My Hitch Options For My 2021 Honda CRV Hybrid?

Question:

Im being pointed to the C13397 for my 2021 CRV hybrid. Ill be using it for a bike rack two bikes. Is this the lightest hitch you carry or is there a different class lower than a 2inch thats made for bike racks? Well never be towing anything.

Hey Todd,

For your 2021 CRV since it is a hybrid the Curt # C13397 is the lowest we have. There are 1-1/4" hitches out there however, they are not intended to fit the hybrid models so it will not work on your vehicle. The Curt Class 3 hitch # C13397 is going to be a great option for you with plenty of capacity for your bike rack and bikes. It is a simple no drill installation and works well with hybrids.

I don't have a bike rack yet, other than the Sirus clamp on that we'd like to replace. What are the popular models for hitches? We have two bikes, not electric, just standard.

@Todd I would say one of the more popular bike racks out there right now for 2 bikes is the Swagman Chinook # S64683. This is a great quality rack with a 45lb capacity per bike, as well as a tilt away feature for easier access to the rear with bikes loaded. It is adjustable for different size wheels and integrated locks to keep those secure.
